Le Secrétariat du Groupe des Etats d’Afrique, des Caraïbes et du Pacifique (Secrétariat ACP) lance un appel à propositions financé par le « Programme de coopération UE-ACP d’appui au cinéma et à l’audiovisuel ACP», pour soutenir des projets dans les domaines cinématographique et audiovisuel intra-ACP, visant à contribuer au développement et à la structuration des industries cinématographiques et audiovisuelles des Etats ACP, afin qu’ils puissent mieux créer et diffuser leurs propres images, et de permettre une promotion accrue de la diversité culturelle, de la mise en valeur des identités culturelles ACP et du dialogue interculturel. Suite à l’évaluation du programme Africa Cinémas, le ministère des Affaires étrangères et l’Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) ont défini de nouvelles orientations pour accompagner les producteurs, les distributeurs et les exploitants d’Afrique subsaharienne afin d’accroître la programmation de films africains dans les salles de cinéma africaines. Dear friends, We would like to announce: “Out Of Europe”, a Berlin based film initiative. As of January 2008, “Out Of Europe” will present a weekly, Monday night series of African-European films for viewing in the popular Berlin cinema “Filmtheater Hackesche Höfe”.

Currently we are still accepting film entries for black perspectives from Denmark, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden and Spain. (more…)

Je voudrais faire suite à l’idée de Mama Keita de réagir aux films tournés par 35 réalisateurs sur les >> 60 ans de Cannes. Mama Keita a proposé que des réalisateurs africains proposent chacun un film de 3 minutes afin que la Guilde organise un contre-événement au festival de Cannes. Je trouve que c’est une très bonne idée et je propose que chacun essaie de nous faire parvenir son film de 3 minutes sur le cinéma le plus rapidement possible.
